Welcome to Creative Wellness at Home, a Creative Resilience Project by Community and Cultural Connections Inc (CCCi) and supported by funding from Inner West Council.

Over the next ten weeks, we’ll be providing do-at-home activities that are designed to promote your wellbeing during Sydney’s lockdown. These activities will incorporate physical movement, mindfulness, and cultural expression to promote holistic wellness and resilience during this really challenging time.

Our weekly activities will be released via this newsletter and promoted on Facebook. We’ll also be sharing activities from other sources that you can do at home. You can also visit this link creativeresilienceinnerwest.substack.com to see all of the activities so far.

Here are the activities you can look forward to!

  • Week 1 - Mindful walking practice: Appreciating nature

  • Week 2 - Create your own mixed media mandala

  • Week 3 - Share your culture: Music

  • Week 4 - Mindful drawing

  • Week 5 - Mindful walking practice: Emotional mapping

  • Week 6 - (Coming soon!)

  • Week 7 - (Coming soon!)

  • Week 8 - (Coming soon!)

  • Week 9 - (Coming soon!)

  • Week 10 - (Coming soon!)

We’d love to see what you create. Email us photos, video, audio, words, anything that you come up with as a part of completing these activities. We’ll share them in our weekly emails and on social media. There’s also a chance a chance to win prizes at the end of the 10 weeks!

How to submit

Send us an email via creativeresilienceinnerwest@gmail.com and attach your submission. Be sure to include your name, your suburb, your age (optional), and one or two sentences about what you created and why.
